James Bennett - Obviously, Those Aren’t Shamir Lenses

James Bennett picked up where C.F. Payne left off on the award winning campaign for eyeglass makers, Shamir Lenses. Every month, Bennett illustrates a humorous scene demonstrating that obviously, those aren't Shamir Lenses, like a man mistaking a phone booth for a port-a-jon. Take a look at these hilarious images from one of the masters of situational humor:

John Mattos - The Twelve Clues of Christmas

John Mattos has been illustrating the covers of mystery novelist Rhys Bowen's "Royal Spyness" mystery series for several years now. "The Twelve Clues of Christmas", to be release in November, is the latest book cover he did. Here it is along with the past covers of the popular mystery collection.

The Water Planet

Every 2 weeks we have been sending out a different sort of promotional email, one that is all about the relevance of illustration in a variety of topics, a sort of bi-weekly eye candy in your inbox. From royal portraits, to political intrigue, we are leaving no stone unturned when presenting the illustration of the fantastic artists repped by RSAR. So far, we received many compliments from art buyers/directors for providing an interesting visual reprieve. This means a lot to us because we know all too well about email clutter.
If you would like to join our mailing list, send an email to anastasiya@richardsolomon.com
Here is the latest collection of images that went out today covering the topic of "The Water Planet":

Ted Wright - Sikeston Rodeo 60th Anniversary

Ted Wright created this rodeo poster for the 60th Anniversary of the Sikeston Bootheel Rodeo:
"It's the largest rodeo in the state of Missouri and is sponsored by the Jaycees. The Jaycees (or Junior Chamber) is a group of young men and women that join together to improve their lives and their communities. Their goal is to provide leadership training through community service. I produced the poster for the Chairman Chris Dean and Bart Ziegenhorn who was last years Rodeo President and this years Marketing Director."
Take a look at some of the other Rodeo posters Ted Wright illustrated here

Fan of the rodeo and in the area? Check out the Sikeston Rodeo website.
